Wordless Wednesday ~ 26: Liberty

Statue of Liberty

A bit of a sentimental one this week, I'm afraid. It is coming up to the one year mark since I went on my Big Trip to New York and I have that weird feeling travellers sometimes get after trips that are so important to them. I am starting to feel as though it was all a dream and that I never went after all. Hopefully I'll return to the States next year (with Husband in tow) but this year I am off on another solo trip, this time to Serbia.

  3. Hey there Emm! Thanks for the visit. It's a type of lavendar, specifically fyi Lavandula stoechas. The bees buzz around it all day.

  9. Great shot of the Statue of Liberty. When in Serbia you should try and check out the mountain resort of Zlatibor.

  12. @ Kiki: Why thank you, m'dear!

    @ Tighwad: oh, lovely.

@ Mo: Heh. Strange you should mention it... our first year was undoubtedly the hardest. We put all that residual stress from wedding planning into fighting!

@ Lauren: Of course I will!

@ Betty: Thank you! I don't intend to change the layout anytime soon. Although, i might put a new photo up in the header.

@ JaPRA: Of course it is! [wipes tear from eye]

@ AVCr8teur: I've been loving your whole set of NYC pics!

@ Ryan: Zlatibor looks exquisite but unfortunately, my trip is more of a city break this time.

@ Ashwathy: Of course! It is such an amazing icon! I feel about the US the same way you feel about the UK!!

@ Martyn: Yeah, like that'll ever happen in my lifetime. ;)
