  6. It's a spectacular hotel, I once saw it (on TV...) and I can't say I like the inside of the building, but the facade is really nice. Love this photo, it's such a unique view.

  7. Curious what your impression was of Dubai. I would like to go but from its reputation for the rich etc, not sure I'd find much to like.

  11. Totally coincidentally I mentioned Dubai in my post on skyscrapers yesterday. It now has the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa.
