The entrance to the famous Platform 9¾ at Kings Cross Station.
We had a Head Office in Welwyn Garden City and I used to go regularly past this, but I was always too stressed at the thought of what was to come, to take any pleasure in it. :)
I love it! It's one of the MANY places I somehow didn't get to visit while I was in London. Next trip!
Never read ny HP but know of the platform.
Fantastic, looks like he's going to make it through :-)
I love it :-)
Ah, the muggles are always trying to get through ;-)
hahahahah..... i pretended this everytime i tak a train anyway.
There's so much I don't know about. lol I was thinking, why is this guy pushing on a brick wall. I'm a bit dense, I know.
Hahha...nice one!! :-)
Never watched any of the films or read the books, but I have been to Platform 9¾, does that make me a fan now...
Love it! I've thought about making a run for it and seeing what happens but i'm too much of a wimp.
@ Bridget: I thought so too!@ Sheila: Aaah. I might not be in love with my love but I am glad to say that it does not give me stress!@ Victoria: I know!@ Kathy: Well, it has taken me 3 years to find it and only because I demanded of a guard (with the straightest possible face) that he point me in the right direction.@ John @ I Love Old Cameras: Aaah, glad you know of it!@ John @ English Wilderness: He did, he did!@ Steve: Yay!@ JaPRA: Oh, my. I better not tell Patrick you mistook him for a muggle. He will be most disappointed.@ Lily: Ha ha! @ Lauren: oh dear. I think you really, really need to read some Harry Potter!@ Ash: Glad you liked it.@ William: No. Read the books! Now!!@ Secret Photography: Ha! Tell you what, why don't you go for it and let me know how that goes for you!@
We're watching Harry Potter at the moment ;-)"Walk straight at the wall between platforms 9 and 10... Best do it at a run"
He's not Harry Potter, is he? I mean, only if you were going to Hogwarts would you try pushing through a wall at a train station. Or did I misread the situation? :)Many thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
Brilliant photo, been wondering for ages where they filmed the famous platform for Harry Potter. Guess I could have made more use of Google to guide me...lol, laziness!
haha if he pushed a bit harder he might just might get through you never know ;)
@ John: I love the Harry Pottr films - have you seen the new one?@ Joy: Hah! I think that going to Hogwarts would be the ultimate dream for the young man trying to get through that wall!@ Nicky: Heh. It's not really that it was filmed there but the famous Platform 9¾ was supposedly at Kings Cross.@ Tina: Hee hee! Well, he was disappointed.
Ahhh haha ... love it!! :)
