Upcoming event: Race for Life 2009

I am taking part in the Race for Life again this year.  My second  post in this blog was about last year’s race.  This is a sponsored 5km fun race to support Cancer Research UK and I will be running in honour of my Dad who survived cancer 3 years ago.  It is taking place next Sunday, 31 May.

If you would like to sponsor me, you can go straight to my sponsorship page or click the button below.  Any money donated goes straight to the charity so you don’t have to worry about me spending it!

I’ll put a widget in my sidebar soon but you can also click on the link below:

  1. It's great you're doing that. I always run in our 6km one around our towns lake for charity. It's good fun too.

  2. Good Luck, my daughter has just run it in the name of her future father in law. sadly he hasn't made it and she marries in 63 days.
    Run like the wind!!

  3. @ Pizza: Oh, that is good of you to do too. Do you know which charity you support?

@ Glynis: Oh, that is so sad. I am eternally grateful that my dad survived - I certainly wasn't ready to lose him back in 2006.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

  4. Emm I stopped by to say hello and send well wishes your way. I hope you and your family have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend. God bless.

  5. Best wishes on your run...a truly great thing to do.

  6. Hey Emm, all the best to your run. I've just chipped in a bit to your fund. Hope that helps.

  7. hi emm,

missed you so much! have not been hopping lately but i hope you hadn't forgotten about me ^_^

  8. Good luck with the run! It's for a very good cause. I did it myself a couple of years ago - in this case when I say run, I mean walk - and it was a great experience.

  9. @ Jodi: Thanks for stopping by! I loved your wordless wednesday post!

@ Talen: Hey! You have a nice blog. Thanks for commenting! The run is this weekend - I will let you know how it goes.

@ CK: Thank you SO much for donating! You helped me exceed my original target and now I have set a higher one!

@ mye: Hey! Not forgotten about you - how have you been?

@ Sheila: Hee hee. Yes, I will certainly be walking too - I am not a natural runner. I am quite excited for this one!
